The five details that affect HDU sign pricing
Size and thickness
A larger or thicker face uses more material. A custom outline may need a larger sheet than the visible finished shape suggests.
Carving and layers
A simple routed name, deep woodgrain, sculpted logo and applied dimensional letters each require different machining and finishing time.
Finish and number of sides
Raw, primed and fully painted work have different scopes. Texture, extra colors, gold leaf and a second finished face add steps.
Mounting and support
A sign intended for a wall, posts, a hanging bracket or a monument opening can require different provisions. Send a photo of the location.
Quantity and delivery
Repeated matching signs may share setup. Packaging and shipping depend on size, destination and the finished sign's protection needs.

Start with the approximate width and height, how many signs you need and your shipping ZIP. Add your logo, sketch, artwork or a photo of a sign you like. If you know the finish, mounting location, number of sides and timeframe, include those too. You can still ask if some details are undecided.

Can you quote from a photo if I do not have artwork?
Yes. Send the clearest photo you have with the approximate size, wording and shipping ZIP. We can identify what additional artwork or measurements are needed.
Why do two signs of the same size cost different amounts?
Carving depth, texture, colors, dimensional letters, finish on one or both sides and mounting requirements can differ even when the outside dimensions match.
Can I order only a routed panel or blank?
Yes. Tell us whether you want it raw, primed or finished, and send the desired outside dimensions and shape. We can quote a component or a complete sign.
Does the quote include shipping?
Yes. Our quoted sign price includes shipping. Provide the delivery ZIP and receiving details so we quote the right destination from the start.
